One of the things I liked the most about The Avengers was the depth of the bond between Thor and Loki, and how complex it was. They loved each other as brothers, and hated each other as enemies.
Every time Thor would beg him to stop and return home, just for a few seconds, you could see vulnerability on Loki’s eyes before the rage would overcome it.
